Mercedes- Benz SLC Shot By Spy Shooters
The forth coming Mercedes-Benz SLC super car will be on roads in 2011. Some spy shooters have taken its pictures and we can have a look on web.

General Motors Cancel XLR Productions
2009 will be the last year of Cadillac XLR. General Motors have announced that they are ceasing their XLR production after a six year production period. The last batch will be coming in spring.
David Caldwell, GM’s spokes man confirms, “We’ve set in motion the kind of build-out of the car”.
The reason behind this decision appears to be the dropped down sales. As per records, the sales dropped to 28 percent in 2008 comparing to 2007’s sales. Around 1,250 XLRs were sold only, in 2008.
Honda S200 Sports to Arrive After Model Year 2009
It has been confirmed by Honda that its S200 sports car to be done after the model year 09.
It was in 1999, when the two-seater was unveiled as 2000 model and it was come forward as one of the most favorite sport cars for those auto enthusiasts who wanted to have some polished manual transmission with tight chassis.

General Motors to Hike Prices
General Motors India has announced recently that it is going to raise the car prices by 1-2% from January 9th in order to cover the rising costs, though it does not expect the markets to get better anytime soon.
With the weakening of the rupee as a currency, the prices were increased in order to cover the production costs, according to the Vice-President, P Balendran.
GM India, which is a unit solely owned by the General Motors confirmed that it missed the targets by approximately 75,000 units. However, sales were even 9.5% more than the year 2007.
Toyota to Cut Jobs In North America
Toyota is looking forward to cut down full time employees in the whole of North America as well as United States, according to a trusted source within the company.
Toyota is also cutting down production taking the global economic crisis in the world and are also getting ready for the first ever loss in the year that ends on March 31st. The sales in United States fell by more than 37%.
Nikkei, a Japanese Daily reported that Toyota is looking to cut as much as 1000 full time jobs in North America as well as UK. More and more people have stopped buying cars in order to deal with the cost cutting pressures.
Porsche 911 gets spied

NAC MG UK Changes Its Name to MG Motor UK
According to company spokesman, NAC MG UK has changed its name to emphasize the MG name, referring to its British origin. It has taken up the name MG motor UK to leave the impressions of its parent Chinese company name.
The company’s spokesman said, “The new name will help strengthen the company’s reputation and re-emergence in the market by emphasizing the already well known MG brand.”
In 2005, MG Rover which was set up at Longbridge, central England, sold its assets to NAC; Nanjing Automobile Company due to economical crises. NAC was sold to a bigger rival, a Chinese group NAC in December 2007.
Last year in September, Nanjing Automobile Company launched its MG TF LE500 roadster in England. Its kits were imported from China and the car was assembled here in England.
The company also revealed its plans of launching a few new models in Longbridge. Though, no announcements of firm export were made.
