We have gathered from sources that black cars may be banned in California. The California legislature has the matter under consideration that the color of cars and the reflection of paint must be regulated in order to diminish energy needs to lower a car’s temperature. The California Air Resources Board made proposal legislation.

The main issue is not the color as such, rather the reflection which the color gives. With all the dark colors, the issue remains the same; they don’t give a better reflection. So, all the black colors are on the list to rest. Jet black tops the list of dark colors to be banned.

The Chevrolet Camaro convertible and Z28 high performance variant’s launch has been postponed for an unknown period of time by General Motors.

According to sources, it has been done in order to save some cash. Camaro will be getting an addition of a four cylinder engine version that will be ready for shipment later this week.

Sneaking inside let us know that GM’s executives are hoping for the restore convertible to production plan. They are planning to launch it in 2010 with the Z28 following suit.

It is heard that Jaguar is putting the final touches on 2011 XJ sedan, its immensely revised car. The styling is said to be done taking XF sedan as a base. Its spy shots and concept photos have been published in British publication Car.

The new XJ will be noticeably different in appearance with having an engineering base of today’s all aluminum XJ chassis, which was designed with subtlety.

This engineered chassis was introduced in the 2004 model. The car took its inspiration from a sedan copying coupe Ian Callum penned XF, and looks like another interchangeable luxury sedan.

The intended sales of the car are in the later part this month in the U.S. Details told by American Honda Motor Co. about the arrival of the car are that it will show up in the showrooms on March 24.

It will be wearing a price tag being suggested by Honda itself as $19,800. The said price will mark the base LX model.
