Now, and only now, do I understand why the Japanese rule the auto industry. It's all about quality materials, attention to detail, fit and finish, fuel efficiency and resale value. As a former long time GM owner, we have turned our backs on the domestics -- forever! RIP. We’ve just purchased our first ever Japanese car — a 2009 Honda Accord EX-L. Now, and only now, do I understand why the Japanese rule the auto industry. It’s all about quality materials, attention to detail, fit and finish, fuel efficiency and resale value. Also head lights are ugly sticking out whereas coupe has nice ones intergrated with fenders.
