Speaking in the layman’s language, the fuel used in cars and motorbikes, the rate and extent of accidents in each of them, and car and motorcycle insurances are some of the differential aspects between cars and motorbikes.
The fuel used in cars is actually cheaper than that used in motorbikes. This is because of the friction modifiers used in car fuel which cannot be used in bike fuel owing to some technical complexities.

This is maintained, mainly to prevent motorcycles from getting into accidents. However, still it is seen or believed that motorbikes tend to face accidents more than cars. And statistics just helps in strengthening this common belief. It is seen that, the casualty rate per 100,000 registered motorcycles is 64.88 while that in case of registered cars is only 15.72. Thus, the chances of casualty in a bike accident are 4 times than in a car accident.

Honda Stateline

Honda is put its workforce on the overdrive with two new launches. The Honda Stateline and the Honda Sabre which have been launched on the 12th and the 13th of November have already begun to capture the senses of bikers all across the globe.

The Honda Stateline is all about the progressive styling and a look which is quite traditional to Honda. New style wheel and a blacked out V- twin engine sounds like a lion roaring when it is on the road. Like the Sabre, this baby also has a one piece seat along with long fenders which are actually flowing that give it a classic look. It has a single 38mm throttle body, which has been incorporated by Programmed Fuel Injection (PGM-FI) gives it a great feel on the road. The two colors that have been launched in the market are candy red and black and both these colors are whipping up a storm on the road.

Finally with a 1312cc liquid-cooled 52° V-twin engine, this motorbike will definitely turn your heads once it zooms past you. Honda has announced one of the greatest displays in the history of their making which is about to be released in the 41st Tokyo Motor Show in 2009. The latest line up will announce a great deal about their production with the new concept-model automobiles coming over motorcycles.

These vehicles would be empowered through different new highlights that are going to be part of the grand new release. The event will take place at the Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan. It would be held from October 24th to November 4th.

The new display would be bringing forth a wide display of models along with the single brand that Honda would be combining different modes of motorcycles, power products as well as automobiles in differing forms. The MotoGP weekend at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca called all motorcyclists from all over the world to converge with the Monterey event. The Monterey peninsula arranged for this event with high festivity. The two-wheeled visitors from across the nation made this gathering a huge success. The night before the city was organized accordingly and the main strip of Cannery Row was shut down for the motorcycle party.

Both community and visitors, jam packed the event celebrating in full tradition. The streets were lined with the ranges of bikes that were lined with owners as well as spectators. The wide number of bikes in display could totally take your breath away. It was a true event for bike lovers turning Monterey in to this wonderful bikers’ paradise.
