Chevrolet Expands Silverado Lineup with Luxurious High Country
Pickup trucks are never meant to look good and most buyers usually focus on the kind of performance these trucks deliver. However, General Motors has decided to make changes to the way buyers think about pickup trucks. Chevrolet has now decided that they will bring out the 2014 Silverado High Country which will allow them to expand the Silverado portfolio that they have. The company said that the new vehicle will join the LTZ and Z71 models that will also be available at the dealerships this fall. Chevrolet claims that they are trying to infuse more luxury into the pickup trucks segment to offer something better to consumers that need more options in their trucks.
2014 Silverado High Country will be different from the rest of the trim levels that are available in the market. The vehicle will have unique chrome grille with horizontal chrome bars and halogen projector headlights, body color front and rear bumpers. The truck will also have unique 20 inch chrome wheels with all season tires. The door handles and mirrors will also have chrome accents to make it look better.
The all new 2014 Silverado High Country will have standard engine which is 5.3 liter EcoTec 3 V8 engine that delivers 355 horsepower and offers 23 mpg fuel economy on the highway. Chevrolet will also offer the truck with 6.2 liter EcoTec3 V8 engine and both the engines will have direct fuel injection and advanced technologies.
Chevrolet said that High Country will be their top of the line model in Silverado lineup and therefore it will have premium interior features and high quality materials. It will have exclusive saddle brown interior with perforated premium bucket seats in the front and High Country logos on the headrests. It will also have Chevrolet MyLink connectivity 8 inch touchscreen, Bose premium audio and front and rear park assist technology.
So far Chevrolet has not provided the price range for 2014 Silverado High Country.
