Corvette buyers will be enjoying a new and special sports package in the coming summer. Youngster, specially the speed freaks enthusiastic for driving will love this edition.

This sports package will be available on these models; ’09 Corvette Coupe 1LT and Z06. It is beautified with gray stripes on the exterior, gray painted aluminum wheels and headlamps, which enhance the sporty look.

Coming with genuine Corvette accessories like aluminum pedals and special engine cover, it has “Jake” logos on B-pillars. The engine cover has a graphic pattern.

The interior is embellished with ebony leather seating with gray stitching and embroidered Jake CSR logo. There are also the seat headrests and center armrest.

Speaking on performance grounds, it has a six speed manual transmission, dual-mode performance exhaust, head up display, red brake calipers; bigger brakes and strong suspension. Because of the performance exhaust system, 1LT’s engine output is 436 hp, with a difference of 6hp from the base car. But it is same on Z06 with 505hp.

Both ’09 Corvette Coupe 1LT and Z06 come almost get similar features with the sports package. Coupe is available in arctic white or blade silver metallic, whereas Z06 is available in blade silver metallic or black.

It is light in weight and performance based package. The limited build is scheduled for summer 2009, will be coming with reasonable price, though the exact figure is not known yet. It seems to be a perfect sports package to date that speed enthusiast will be able to enjoy.
