New Audi Q3 will Compete with BMWX1, Land Rover Evoque and Mercedes-Benz BLK-Class
2012 Audi Q3 made a debut at Shanghai Auto Show few days ago, now Audi has unveiled the features of this new member of Audi family.
Engine with Three Choices
Weight of Audi Q3 is 3,307 lbs; one can make best use of capacity of its luggage compartment that has capacity of 16.24-48.2 cubic feet. Q3 features hard drive navigation system, Bose sound system and MMI navigation system. Audi has built these features with state-of-the-art technology. As far as engine is concerned, 2012 Audi Q3 will offer three choices to customers i.e. TDI, TFSI units (Power range 140HP-211HP) and a diesel engine with fuel economy of 45.23 US mpg.
Exterior
Audi Q3 has sporty looks and it is elegant design wise, frame grille consists of pointed upper corners and it ends at dynamic arc of the engine lid. Front of Q3 is occupied by wedge-shaped headlights. A part from it, Q3 has energetic lines and well-built wheels. It is expected that Audi Q3 will be available in 12 different colors; hence customers will be able to select their favorite colors. Those who want Q3 with enhanced sporty looks could select S-Line package.
Interior
Like exterior, interior of Audi Q3 is also sporty, Front seats are quite spacious and comfortable with a curvy design. 5 colors for interior choice will be available i.e. black, grey, beige, and brown with two shades. Other features include panoramic glass roof, seats with multi-adjustable facility, ambient lights, and leather steering wheels with three spokes.
Performance of Engine
All Audi Q3 engine with three choices have four-cylinder engine and also includes 2 liters displacement along with direct fuel injection and turbo charging capability. It is estimated that top speed of 142mph could be achieved with 2.0 TFSI; on the other hand fuel economy of diesel version is estimated as 45.23mpg.
Availability
New Audi Q3 will be available in Europe in the mid of June 2011

The main competitors of Audi Q3 will be BMWX1, Land Rover Evoque and Mercedes-Benz BLK-Class which has yet to come.
