An SUV one would love to own for its look, space and sheer usefulness. Having a 3 rows of seats and bundle of tech and connectivity the car is 4.7m long the car would be available in the 2nd half of 2017. It has the capability of beating the likes of Hyundai Santa Fe, Nissan X-Trail and others who are in the category. The company regards Kodiaq as one of its best product in terms of functionality, interior, space and value for money. The car weighs at 1540kg but powered by the 1.4-ltr TSI engine with all wheel drive.

The rear lights are of LED and there is a double-line approach inside. The in-built audio system is of 6.5 inch is of touch screen and is separated by large air vents which eventually separates in cabin format between the driver and passenger. There is an opportunity to upgrade the infotainment. Phonebox is an additional feature being provided where a smartphone can be charged inductively. There is a tri-zone climate control which is also available.

Kodiaq, loaded with six speed manual drive or a Direct-shift Gearbox either with 6 or 7 gears is available in two turbodiesel and three petrol engines at the time of launch. The car is equipped with all-wheel drive system and uses an electronically controlled multi-plate clutch which constantly vary the amount of torque sent to rear axle. Having power outputs varying between 123bhp to187bhp the car is equipped with all featuring turbo charging and direct injection. At the entry level, a TDI with 148bhp 2.0-litre delivers self acclaimed average of 20kmpl.

The Kodiaq world premier is scheduled in Berlin and if plans can be explored for a 16-cylinder Skoda full size SUV we will have it on Indian roads soon.
