2010 Chevrolet Corvette
2010 Chevrolet Corvette
The 2010 Chevrolet Corvette has just recently hit the market, and this is definitely one of the best performance bargains out there. The Z06 is one of the world’s best motors, and the ZR1 is just too amazing to describe. There are many positives to this car – the acceleration is tremendous, the soundtrack is great, it has high handling capabilities, plus the trunk is a large one. The cons of the car include its not-so-nimble handling, and rather bad interiors.
Now let’s talk about the car in detail. Well, the 2010 Chevrolet Corvette gets launch control on all the manual-transmission models, the old Z51 performance package is replaced by a Grand Sport variant. There is also a Performance Traction Management system for the ZR1. For the Z06, you get a Cashmere interior color option, as well as the standard side airbags. The driving of this car is amazing – even five minutes behind the wheel will do the trick for you, you will find yourself not wanting to drive any other car. For this car, driving is believing – and the 2010 Chevrolet Corvette is truly a style icon in itself. In any form, the car is fast, it keeps to the road rather well, and it’s pleasant driving it.
The launch control is quite handy for the acceleration times, and the Grand Sports edition is a great improvement on the Z51 package (that has now been discontinued), and it pairs the base engine with unique exterior styling cues, a sport-tuned suspension, Z06 styled wheels, tires and brakes, aggressive gearing, and even the oiling system is of the dry-sump style.
