Only Camry SE comes with 179 Horse Power engine. All models have the option of 6 speed manual transmission or 6 speed automatic transmissions. The LE, SE and XLE models are also available with high power 268 horsepower 3.5 Liter V6 engine that is coupled with 6 speed automatic transmission. The Hybrid comes with 2.4 Liter 4 cylinder gas engine with battery powered 187 horsepower electric motor. This can run on either power source, like Toyota’s other hybrids and these need no plug in charging continuous variable transmission is used (CVT).
