2012 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder – A Review

The 2012 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder is the new mid-size two-door convertible luxury sports car. It is engineered at the Mitsubishi’s manufacturing facility in America’s Heartland in Normal, Illinois. It exhibits an eye catching exterior with muscular chassis, chrome LED tail lamps and large 18-inch 10-spoke alloy wheels. The chrome rear spoiler and dual exhaust outlet with polished tips makes it more prominent out of other cars. A glass rear window with a built-in defroster is fitted in the top. The soft top is power convertible and can fold in 19 seconds. The GT version however, includes a removable windscreen deflector which helps in reducing wind noise.

The impressive EPA rating of 20 mpg is achieved in the city and  27 mpg on the highway The 4-speed Sportronic automatic transmission can give fastest acceleration. The GT model however, gives an outstanding performance with 5-speed Sportronic automatic transmission. The Sportronic design technology helps the driver to shift the gears quickly.
