It was in 2007 when the diamond jubilee of the iconic 1932 Ford was celebrated with great zeal and zest and the most high point of the jubilee was a gathering of 75 most significant 32s.

Ford’s own LA County Fairplex Hall in Pomona was the place where the jubilee was held and the ceremony was jutted with hot-rod Fords royalties.

Now this is 2009 and now the 1934 has got 75 years old. Though it’s not a right time for it to turn 75, but when it comes to its devotees, they have the same love for it.

Just like the 1933 and 1934 models, the 1940 model also had a nice looking grille in front and most of the 32s were without any fender.

The 32s much of notoriety came from its latest reasonably priced V8, as the first eight-cylinder engines were full of troublesome issues, but as the model 40 Fords emerged most of the V8 teething problems were resolved and it was quite a smooth sailing for it.

So when it comes to mechanical outlook, the 34 and 33 Fords were quite awesome vehicles and the ‘32s often seemed to command over attention.

Now in this year of diamond jubilee, there are no direct celebrations for the car, however, a pretty good ceremony was held at Wally Parks NHRA Motorsports Museum where a large number of 40s Models were displayed.
