Nissan 370Z
The Nissan Motors started manufacturing Datsun in 1960. The U.S. market first saw it in 1970. The first model was introduced was Datsun 240Z. The Americans appreciated this new entry tremendously.

The results were an average sale of around 50000 cars every year. Up till now the Americans have consumed over one million units of this small car. Now another junior giant is being introduced decade after the first entry.
Nissan is now introducing Datsun 370Z Edition in Black to celebrate the 40th anniversary in the American market. This coupe’ is a limited edition and available in two metallic shades — Black and Quartz. These colors represent Nissan’s Scratch Shield Technology, protecting stone chip damage.
The new Nissan 370Z salient features include:
- The seats are of red leather suede with embossed 40th anniversary logo.
- The door trimmings have similar red leather and suede.
- All the stitching is in red on center cluster, knee pads and center console.
- The steering wheel has red leather wrapped with red stitching.
- Premium state-of-the-art touch screen satellite navigation and audio system enabling USB connectivity which is Nissans special.
Nissan 370Z can easily be recognized by the 40th anniversary logo on the back door, very visible red brake calipers and dark grey 19 inch forged alloy Rays wheels.
Nissan 370Z standard specifications include a Bose bespoke audio system. The next generation system has updated features with easy operation mode.
The Hard Disc Drive (HDD) navigation ensures high performance at all times with additional increased audio storage capacity of 9.3 GB. These additions employ the latest technologies to satisfy the market quality demands combined with customer safety and security.
The Nissan’s intelligent key operates the stop/start button. The manual six speed transmission employs the latest and unique Synchro Rev Control technology. The Rev matching ensures perfect ‘heel and toe’ gear changes. Automatic version includes a seven speed column mounted paddle shift. All systems are electronically controlled.
Nissan has delivered only 370 limited cars of the 370Z model in Europe yet.
The improved navigation system extends the mapping facility that now includes Turkey, Eastern Europe and Russia. The 3D version guidance has better graphics of main cities of Europe. The 7 inch screen has far better resolution than the earlier generation systems.
The traffic information is through RDS-TMC allowing quick rerouting in no time.
The new generation touch screen interface facilitates safety and functions like Bluetooth connectivity and entertainment. Operation by voice recognition is also possible.
