Recently I got a new job and the first thing I wanted to do was to buy a new car. I immediately had a look in my local paper, but there was nothing in there that really interested me. I had my heart set on a mark 2 golf GTI but there was nothing in there that was that appealing to me.

One of my friends told me that I should really be buying online for something like that but I didn’t really like the idea of having to trek all the way across the country to buy my new car. I was hell bent on finding local used cars but I also thought that there was no harm in just having a look.

Fortunately for me, when I started searching online I came across a great site which actually allowed me to search their database of cars for sale in my local area! All I had to do was select my county, and then select my local town, and then select Volkswagen, and before I knew it, all of these cars were right before my eyers that had not been in my local paper!

To cut a long story short I managed to track down the exact model I wanted, which was the 16 valve version, and it turned out to only be two miles away! Needless to say, the next time I need to buy a car the internet will be my first port of call!
