Audi will soon be introducing its new ultra models range, especially A4, A5 and A6 with an improved fuel-economy. The three models will be powered with a dominant 2.0 liter TDI engine and a manual transmission as standard.

The “Ultra” title is the representation of sustainability, durability and efficiency- a trademark of Audi- and that’s what the new A4, A5 and A6 models stand for. The revamped performance of the Ultra range does not compromise on comfort or quality either.

Performance

With a 2 liter TDI, A4, A5 and A6 produce exhilarating horsepower of 136, 163 and 190 at 100,120 and 140 KW respectively. The new models also deliver a controlled CO2 emission ranging from 104 to 119g/km. The models produce enhanced torque ranging from 320 to 400NM, depending on the model you choose. Not only the CO2 emissions but the nitrogen oxide exhaust has also been controlled through an innovative SCR system, which also fits the models to the future Euro 6 emission standards.

Mileage

The Audi Ultra models specialize in delivering efficient mileage. A4, A5 and A6 possess a combined fuel economy of 51.13 to 60.31 mpg.

Transmission

Audi A4, A5 and A6 versions come with a standard manual transmission, but you can opt for a 7-speed S tonic transmission which somewhat reduces the consumption range to 53.46Mpg. Further improving the transmission is its revamped dual-clutch, which ensures a smooth gear-shift at all times.

Other Features

The new ultra models come equipped with a standard start-stop system which further optimizes the fuel consumption along with a driver information system, keeping you aware of the status of your vehicle.

Price and Availability

The latest range of Audi’s Ultra models will be on sale from the first quarter of 2014 with price ranges from €32,600 to €44,000, depending upon the models you opt for and the inclusion of S Tonic transmission.
