Bugatti Veyron: A real fast, but inexpensive gift for speed enthusiasts

Drivers, who loved riding fast and furious machines, often, had to pay big bucks to satiate their speed thirst. But these days, speed has become a right for consumers rather than a privilege.

Though many carmakers admit it, they do not provide similar performance as one can have in the Veyron whose various models attain as fast as 60 and cost is just $100,000.

Mike Omotoso, who is senior manger at Global Powertrain Forecasting, says in this connection: “We can see that every new generation of performance cars seem doing a bit better than previous ones.

They were supercars that used to cover 0-60 in just 4 seconds, but now 3.5-4.0 seconds is the price just to admit in that segment.”

Now with the passage of time performing segment is also broadening and it’s not limited only to low-riding, angular sports cars to go for the speed, as there are many bold-power big sedans to come up with more speed.

So, people who are looking for a new car in the market need not to dream about speed and consider more the package that they want to wrap it in.

When it’s about finding the speedier 2009 autos under the price tag of $100,000, people have to look at the data models provided by the automakers which get in 60mph, and it is sad that we don’t have the standard form of measuring 0-60 at the auto industry.
