Honda’s Crossover Insight To Be Priced Below $20,000

2010_honda_insight_hybridIt has been recently told by Honda that said it will be launching its new Insight hybrid wearing a price tag under $20,000.

The intended sales of the car are in the later part this month in the U.S. Details told by American Honda Motor Co. about the arrival of the car are that it will show up in the showrooms on March 24.

It will be wearing a price tag being suggested by Honda itself as $19,800. The said price will mark the base LX model.

There will be a price difference in different models with slight feature changes and up gradations. Like, the Hybrid EX will be coming with some superior features inclusion.

With this inclusion of feature, the car will have a basic price amounting $21,300. All the details are being given out by Honda.

Honda plans to bring the Insight hybrid as an economical car. It is expected by Honda that the cars will be putting forth a tough competition for Toyota Prius.

The Toyota Prius 2009 comes at a base price tag of $22,000, as per Toyota’s Web site. It is obvious that Toyota Prius 2010 will be wearing a price tag higher than the previous.

The No. 2 Japanese automaker aims at eco friendly bargain customers with a success already becoming clear. Honda told that it is already receiving 18,000 orders in advance for the new Insight.

These advance orders are exceeding Honda’s own expectations for the success of the car.
