Jaguar plans to unveil its new XF range at 84th Geneva International Motor Show

At the 84th Geneva International Motor Show, Jaguar un-wraps the third model of its performance oriented R-S range. The new model is named XFR-S that is a blend of all new F-Type and XKR-s models. The gets power from a huge and powerful 5.0 liter V8 petrol engine that will now produce 405 kW and 680 NM with an increase of 29 kW and 55 NM. The engine is mated by an eight speed automatic transmission. The car can accelerate from 0-62 mph in just 4.8 seconds with a top speed of 300 km/h which is electronically limited. The consumes approximately 12.7 liters for 100 km and the CO2 emission is 297 gram per kilometer. The vehicle line director of Jaguar Ian Hoban commented “The 2015 XF model range has an incredibly wide breadth of capability. From a blistering 0-60mph time of only 4.6 (4.4 for the XFR-S Saloon) seconds to emissions figures of just 129g/km from the XF R-Sport 2.2 Diesel – with 1675 litres of loadspace for all Sportbrake models – there’s a Jaguar XF to suit every taste.”
The car has a really fascinating and head turning exterior with few modifications made to the front, sides and rear of the car. The roofline is extended that now offers and sdditional 48mm head room to the rear passengers. The back seats can be folded flat that increases the cargo space up to 1675 liters. The car runs on standard 20” alloy wheels and has a corner recognition system for safe cornering. At the time when the car negotiates a bend, the transmission will hold a right gear and allow the car to exit safely.
