London Gearing Up for Formula E in June 2015
Britain is gearing up for the Formula E which will start here in June 2015 around Battersea Park. Formula E CEO Alejandro Agag made an announcement that the new location of the London ePrix at the championship’s global launch event in the Roundhouse, Camden. He also came up with the promotional video footage of the electric Formula cars that are racing across the Westminster Bridge. He announced that the new Formula E race will take place on 27 June 2015. However, he also admitted that there are some hurdles that he needs to overcome before the race becomes reality.
Agag also said that they are also contacting with other drivers that would like to participate in the event and they are interacting with other teams that will provide support and assistance for the event. He was joined by London’s Deputy Mayor for Policy and Planning Sir Edward Lister who said that they are supporting the event but they still need to have more details and local consultations before they decide to go ahead with the event as they do not want to impose it on the locals. The all new Formula E will be more environment friendly with electric cars that are fun to drive and offer better speed and performance.
