Sketches of the new Kia Optima revealed

Back in 2010, at the Auto Show in New York, Kia broke out of its dull design when it unveiled the third-generation Optima sedan. It soon became the bestselling car of the brand. Five years later, they are returning at the same auto show with a brand new Optima.
At the recently concluded Geneva Motor Show, Kia showcased its Sportspace Concept of the new Optima. We now have teaser sketches of the 2016 model of Optima that will be in production later this year.
These sketches have shown the inclusion of Kia’s signature grille, ‘tiger nose’ along with its sporty bumper design, a thin C-pillar and streamlined fender vents. The looks of this car are stunning and should manage to bring in a lot more sales for this Korean brand.
Although the specifications for the new car hasn’t been released, it is highly likely that it will be linked to Sonata produced by Hyundai, its sister brand. This means that all of the upgrades that have been seen in Sonata’s latest version will be seen in Optima as well which may include the four cylinders, 2.0 liter engine.
With the Motor Show in New York scheduled on April 1, the anticipation to check out the new car is on the rise.
