On the 5th of February, 2010 in Tokyo, the manufacturer of Subaru Automobiles Fuji Industries has announced to showcase their new Subaru Hybrid Tourer Concept car as a premiere, and also to reveal the new Subaru Impreza XV, as world premiere. Later on it will be available for consumers in the coming summers in Europe.

In the 80th Geneva International Motor Show being held in March at Geneva, Switzerland. In addition ‘Subaru Plug-in STELLA’ will also be exhibited in the auto show, which is an electric vehicle introduced in Japan the previous year.

“BOXER DIESEL” models, and emphasizes Subaru’s only one of its kind Horizontally-Opposed Boxer Engine technologies. Nissan Motor Co. Ltd. And all other Japan Ryokan Associations signed a new Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to work closely to build a less carbon and environment friendly society.

The two big organizations will be working together to endorse the electric vehicles development’s charging infrastructures in the hotels. In order to build-up new demand for Hotel industry to promote Electric Vehicles. Based on the new MOU, the new partnership will be a both sided work and study on the following areas.

1. To develop and create new infrastructures for charging in the Hotels with the help of All Japan Rykon Association.

Porsche has started the new more environment friendly paint shop at Stuttgart. It took almost six and a half months to construct it, the architecture of the building is equipped with the latest production facilities at the main plant in Zuffenhausen, which is now completed. In the ceremony, the seniors enjoyed while taking the tour of the building. They also dictated in detail about the new and most innovative paint shop from technical aspects which will be starting from 2011.

The management is considering it as a State-of-the-art steel construction building; they are saying that the new paint shop is a landmark in the industry.

Rolls-Royce, the company of Global Power Systems, has got a share in the order from Sichuan Airlines for V2500 engines to boost 12 Airbus A320 Aircraft, it worth $100 million. This agreement is an on-going service for engines of the Aircrafts, to be supplied during the years of 2011 to 2015.

The existing line of 61 Aircrafts of A320 family and the order is absolutely powered by the V2500. International Aero Engines Consortium is producing the V2500 engines, where Rolls Royce is a major share holder. The other partners are Pratt & Whitney, MTU Aero Engines and the Japanese Aero Engines Corporation.

Airbus aircrafts, A319, A320 and A321will be powered by 22’000-33’000 lb V25000 engine and some other aircrafts as well. There are around 6’000 V2500 engines are under the services around the world.

Toyota has sold over 83’279 vehicles in the month of January, with a decrease in sales for about 12%, than the January of the last year. Toyota has terminated the sales of 8 vehicles which were faulty for their accelerator pedals recall, it was effecting badly on the sales and the brand’s identity.

This is also a reason for the less sales in this January. If we combine the productions and sales of those suspended models, it totals about 60% of the total inventory; where as the Lexus Division has announced the increased sales with 14.2%, by selling 15’517 units.

In Detroit, The Chevrolet Cruze has been announced as the finalist car for its high-status World Car of the Year Award and the finalist car for the World Car Design of the Year Award goes to Chevrolet Camaro. The list of winners will be announced at New York International Auto Show on April 1.

Bob Holden is showcasing his 35th race in the Mt. Panorama along with an old driver at an age of 77, Toyota Yaris has confirmed to drive in this year’s Bathurst. It will be a 12 hours race will be arranged on the 14th February.

Holden was the winner of 1996 edition of Bathurst and now it is 1000’s, he drove the 1.5 liter YRX of Yaris in the limited produced version accompanied with driver Justin Mathews and Craig Bradshaw.

Holden has a wide experience of racing from more than 60 years and still moving forward to Bathurst in a car he prepared himself by taking help of other experts.

Solar Hydrogen Station

Honda has started new operations for the upcoming series of Solar Hydrogen Station first sample in the Honda R&D Americas, Inc. in Los Angeles. They have proposed an excellent use for home replenish products which are capable of refilling the fuel cells of electric vehicles overnight.

It is a vertical unit, incorporated to be installed in the consumer’s garage. This new generation Hydrogen Station is making the smaller systems but producing more energy of hydrogen from filling in 8 hours during the night for everyday use. It will provide 10’000 miles in a round year to drive an electric fuel cell vehicle.

There were previously designed hydrogen system that were more space consuming because they were coming with a separate compressor and an electrolyzer to produce more pressure hydrogen. It was very expensive and the compressor was a large component and eventually minimizes the systems performance.
